The vibrating plate is one of the most popular tools of small mechanization. They are used for compaction of soils during construction. During road works, asphalt is also compacted with vibrating plates, and when paving roads, a vibrating plate with a special mat is used for laying paving stones or paving slabs. Additionally, plates up to 100 kg can be equipped with a protective frame, transport wheels, irrigation system, rubber mat.

Vibratory plates are divided into two large classes – rectilinear (PC series) and reversible (RP series), based on the possibilities of movement. By weight, they can be divided into light, medium and heavy plates. Light plates are mostly straight-running. Medium and heavy are more often reversible.

The main characteristics of the plates are weight, sole size, compaction depth and performance. These characteristics are essentially interdependent. The larger the size of the sole and the speed of movement of the plate, the greater the productivity. The compaction depth for heavy reversible plates is one of the most important indicators, which is primarily paid attention to when choosing.
